So here it is, the long awaited glance at my secret cosplay! Queen Elsa!
I know there are a lot of people cosplaying her right now, but I don't really care, haha. Before I saw Frozen, I loved her design and had basically decided to make it. Providing she wasn't a horrible character. And then I saw it, and I loved her character! Yay!!
I decided to go as screen accurate as possible, but she isn't done yet. I'm about 145hrs into it, and there are probably 100+ hrs to go... yay? Anywho, I am very excited for it. I hope you guys like it a fraction of the amount I like it, and then we'll all be good.
PS: If you like it, I may post more of it~!
it was inspring actually(((*´ε｀ *)(* ´З｀*)))
oh my god, i love it.
Looks fantastic! I hope to see more of this one!
Wow.. what a beautiful cosplay! Great job. Love it!
Wig and costume look spot on! You should do a standing full body shot so we can see the train/wings (whatever you call a cape thingy that starts at the armpit). Might need a tad more eyeshadow (or its the lighting). Definitely looks amazing!
Thanks! I didn't ever get a chance to do a make-up test, so next time it will be a little darker. Still working all of the kinks out.
can't wait to see next time... and anything else you come up with! You truly are a talented lady... serious bragging rights to say I know you
Lovely cosplay. It looks good, I can't even begin to imagine what 100hr more you could do. But I am sure once it is finished to your satisfaction that it'll be a really great piece of costuming. Perhaps the Elsa to end all the other Elsas?
Aww, thank you! If it helps, it takes an average of 10 hours for each snowflake on the cape (without breaks, and working very hard). So I think I am looking at over 100 hours, as there are more than 10 snowflakes left on the cape, not to mention the bodice, the undershirt, the wig, and the shoes. :S But~! I've got 2 months, so I can do it! Just gotta keep strong!
I have never heard of this movie
'Frozen' is the new Disney movie, coming out on DVD and Blu-Ray March 18th. It's the classic Danish story of the Ice Queen, or the Snow Queen, but done Disney style (where they change a lot of the story, but still come out with a great film). I recommend seeing it
